Corey Taylor is a consistently busy man. Along with fronting Slipknot and Stone Sour, two of the biggest metal and rock bands in the world, he also does the odd solo stint, and is also an author.
His interests in music rarely venture outside the world of rock, punk, and metal, but it looks like he’s going to be entering rap territory very soon with up-and-coming British rapper, Kid Bookie.
It all started when Kid Bookie tweeted about ‘Wait & Bleed’, one of Slipknot‘s biggest songs to date, and how it stands against ‘Chop Suey!’ by System Of A Down.
SlipKnot – Wait & Bleed is as iconic as Chop Suey.

Soon after, and following a few mentions from fans for him to team up with Taylor, he responded to confirm he was more than up for the idea.

Now, just a week later, it looks like whatever plans and discussions they’ve been cooking up behind-the-scenes have become far more concrete, and that we can expect something “very VERY special” soon.
People of earth and beyond, me and @CoreyTaylorRock have some very VERY special music coming for you soon 😈. That is all, have a good day.

This isn’t the first time that Taylor has dabbled with rap. The self-titled debut Slipknot album saw him spit a few bars on songs like ‘Spit It Out’, and he teamed up with Tech N9ne back in 2015.
More details on Taylor‘s collaboration with Kid Bookie will be confirmed as it develops.
