If you like Call Of Duty and Avenged Sevenfold, this is a real treat. Speaking to American radio station HardDrive Radio, bassist Jonny Christ revealed there will be a new Avenged Sevenfold track featured on the upcoming FPS video game, Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4.

In an excerpt taken from the interview, Jonny Christ had the following to say.

“The [new] song is written. We’re recording it right now. We just took a break in the studio recording it this last week, and we’re going to finish it up this coming week. Then it will go off to get mixed and mastered, and I believe some time in July is when everyone will be hearing it for the first time. We don’t have a name for it yet. [Vocalist M. Shadows] is figuring out the lyrics. I think he just finished them before we came out here. It’s a fun song — it’s a little bit of a departure from I think what our fans would expect, but I guess that also makes sense because they expect crazy from us now.”

No strangers to the Call Of Duty video game franchise, the band also had their song ‘Carry On’ feature on Call Of Duty: Black Ops II back in 2012. You can listen to it below.

Avenged Sevenfold will headline the main stage at Download Festival on June 8th 2018. Their last studio album was 2016’s ‘The Stage’, and they’ve hinted at working on a new album this Autumn.

The game Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 is expected to be released on October 12th 2018 through Activision.
