Back in September, Architects released their latest song, ‘Doomsday’, which acts as both the first new material from the band since they released their 2016 full-length ‘All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us’, and also their first since the tragic passing of guitarist, Tom Searle.
Initially released as a digital only single, the band have announced a limited edition 7″ vinyl release of ‘Doomsday’, which will be released on December 8th 2017.
The 7″ will be etched on the b-side, and limited to 1,000 copies.
At the time of its release, drummer Dan Searle shared, “‘Doomsday’ was a song that Tom had started but never got to finish. Completing it for him was a massive responsibility. ‘Doomsday’ is not from an album we’ve recorded. It’s just 1 song. It’s just the start. Our way of showing everyone that there’s still a future.”
You can pre-order the limited edition ‘Doomsday’ vinyl online now via their official webstore (here).
