NEWS: Slipknot to release (sic)ness live DVD!

Slipknot are set to release their upcoming live DVD ‘(sic)ness’ on September 27th, composing of their live performance headlining Download Festival in Donington on June 13th, 2009. This documents one of the last major performances with the now late founding member and bassist Paul Gray who passed away in May this year.

The band’s set will be featured on the DVD in full, marking as one of the most pinnacle moments in the band’s history to date. NEWS: Jonny Craig rejoins Dance Gavin Dance!

According to AltPress, Dance Gavin Dance have revealed that they’ve parted ways with vocalist Kurt Travis and that original vocalist Jonny Craig (now of Emarosa) will join alongside original screamer Jon Mess in returning to the band to record a new album. The reunited line-up will also embark on a headlining run next spring. Jonny Craig will continue to remain in Emarosa as well, despite claims made via his official Twitter account earlier this month.

Dance Gavin Dance released this statement, “Dance Gavin Dance have officially parted ways with their vocalist Kurt Travis. The band and Kurt remain friends, and they wish Kurt the best in all of his future endeavors. The band know they’ve been dealing with a lot of member changes, but they assure their fans that it’s all for the best. They would also like to announce the return of original vocalist Jonny Craig. Jonny will join other returning vocalist Jon Mess in the studio this fall to record their forthcoming release on Rise Records due out next year. This will not effect Jonny Craig‘s work with Emarosa or his solo project. The band are excited to start the next chapter of Dance Gavin Dance and are excited to revisit the days of [2007’s] Downtown Battle Mountain“.
