The split of Tyler Carter from his former band Woe, Is Me was undeniably intense and filled with drama, with the band making their fair share of bad words and allegations against Tyler, his intentions and behaviour within the group in recent months. His leaving of the band was to instead pursue his solo music project, pushing that as far as he could and basically noting that he enjoyed it far more. Instead of trading back venome with his ex-bandmates, he has instead shared with us exclusively what he plans for in the future, and what we can all expect from the new Tyler Carter:

Thinking of a great idea for a project with your friend that you think will do really well is one thing, but actually bringing it to fruition is something else entirely. Ross Wilson and Pete Hutchison however are one of the few people who tried to bring their plans to life, and so their new label Thanks For Nothing Records was born in the heart of Glasgow, Scotland.

After a successful launch party on June 23rd, which brought British heavyweights to be While She Sleeps to headline the evening’s festivities, things have been looking pretty positive, and with their first signing’s My Friend The Arsonist debut EP on the verge of release and a Battle Of The Bands competition in the works, we got a hold of Ross and Pete to talk about the label’s beginnings and where they plan on taking it:

After some travelling complications, Hang The Bastard were forced to change their set time, date and stage they were to perform on at this year’s Hevy Festival. With an impressive album in ‘Hellfire Reign’ released a few months beforehand, we thought it’d be a great opportunity to chat with the guys to talk about things as of late, and what’s within their scope in the foreseeable future:
