The heights that Bedford’s Don Broco have ascended to over the past 12 months is almost unbelievable. The last headline show the band played in Manchester was the small The Roadhouse to just a handful of people. Now, the band have completely sold out Academy 2, a room tenfold in size to their last show there. We caught up with drummer Matt Donnelly and guitarist Simon Delaney to talk about their rise, their debut album ‘Priorities’, their work out/fitness regime, wanking out giant sperm (yeah, seriously) and more.

Huge forerunners of the ska punk genre, Reel Big Fish are now eight studio albums into their career and, despite falling from their mainstream major label days, the band have always held onto their underground die-hard fans. Always returning to the UK for headline tours at the beginning of the year, we jumped at the chance to speak with drummer Ryland Steen to talk about their latest record ‘Candy Coated Fury’, how the tour has been going, his favourite swear word and more.

When bands who are much more in the heavier spectrum of things, it’s often a very risky move to walk down the path of melodic hooks that were totally absent in the past. However, for The Ghost Inside, the risk most definitely paid off when they did just that with their latest full-length, ‘Get What You Give’. Whilst at the Manchester date of their UK tour support said record, we spoke with frontman Jonathan Vigil about their latest album, why they decided to take the melodic route, why they signed with Epitaph to release the album and more:

Some note them as the new Glassjaw, some note them even as one of the most live modern post-hardcore bands around today. Regardless, letlive. certainly are a band who carry passion and meaning through and through with their music. Whilst touring across the UK supporting Deftones, we caught up with the band to talk about their music, their upcoming yet-to-be-titled full-length, injuries they’ve sustained so far during their shows and more.

Bringing out a concept/rock opera themed album is a bold move, but to also bring out an accompanying feature length film to coincide with the release is a big stretch for any band, nevermind one as young as Hollywood’s Black Veil Brides. With both the album and film being releases for a few weeks and in the UK on the headline spot of the Kerrang! tour, we spoke with drummer Christian “CC” Coma about the releases, the narrative behind the album, how they’re finding the tour so far, plans for 2013 and more:

Bringing to light more social related issues in their lyrics than most other bands, Sonic Boom Six are a band who carry a more unified message than the usual ‘bad relationship’ or ‘missing that one’ that other bands usually opt for.
