NEWS: Corey Taylor (Slipknot/Stone Sour) talks Donald Trump with The Guardian!
September 7th, 2017
Along with fronting both the most prolific modern metal bands Slipknot and hard rock giants Stone Sour, Corey Taylor also dabbles in a bit of writing, and just last month he released his fourth published book, ‘America 51: A Probe Into The Realities That Are Hiding Inside “The Greatest Country In The World”‘.
As the title strongly suggests, the book shares Taylor‘s thoughts and opinions about what he finds is the dividing nature of the United States, and through it discusses America’s culture and society today, including dating apps, mobile phone addiction, hip-hop, music streams, environmentalism, appropriation of “metal culture”, and Donald Trump.
In promoting and giving us a bit of a snippet and bite-sized chunk into the kind of things that Taylor talks about, and his stance on those subjects, he recently spoke with The Guardian, and briefly gives us a bit of a helping hand on understanding and navigating through the subject of Donald Trump, toxic masculinity, celebrities trying to enter politics, modern dating, mobile phone addiction, the environment, the music industry, hip-hop, artificial intelligence, and “appropriating metal culture”.

Taylor‘s newly published book, ‘America 51: A Probe Into The Realities That Are Hiding Inside “The Greatest Country In The World”‘, is out now through Da Capo Press.
