Currently on the midst of a UK tour in support of their highly-acclaimed studio album ‘California’, pop-punk trio Blink-182 have regrettably announced that they have been forced to cancel tonight’s (July 17th 2017) show at the BIC in Bournemouth due to illness.

The following statement has been issued regarding the show’s cancellation:

“It is with deep regret that Blink-182 have to cancel their show this evening at Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) due to band illness, on doctors advice. Refunds will be available from point of purchase. The shows at the O2 in London will go ahead as planned.”

Vocalist/bassist Mark Hoppus has come down with an upper respiratory infection (or, in layman’s terms, a chest infection), diagnosed by a doctor ahead of their show in Liverpool on Saturday, but continued with their show there against medical advice.

However, Hoppus is now too ill to perform tonight’s show.

Refunds for tickets to tonight’s Bournemouth show will be available from the point of purchase. At the time of writing, all forthcoming shows will still be going ahead as scheduled.

The band’s latest full-length album, ‘California’, is available now through BMG.
