NEWS: Evarose decide to part ways!
May 17th, 2017
Oxford based alternative rockers Evarose have regrettably announced that they as a band have decided to call it a day and part ways. The band, who formed back in 2010 and self-released their debut studio album ‘Invisible Monsters’ last year, shared the news of their split via a statement posted on their official Facebook page.
You can read said statement that was issued by the band online below.
“To everyone who has supported Evarose over the last 7 years, this message is for you:
This is something we never wanted to write and is still very difficult. As a band we have always put everything into Evarose, and have always worked hard to push and improve it over the years. Sadly all good things must come to an end and pushing so hard for something all of our adult lives does eventually take its toll.
We are all so proud of what we have accomplished in Evarose. We have enjoyed every adventure, every show, every song.
To every single one of you that has come to a show, bought a song, listened to our music, or just given your constant support and kindness; we cannot thank you enough. We have all loved sharing Evarose with you and have all made friends and memories for life through this band. This is not the end for us all musically, but the end of the Evarose chapter of our lives.
We hope you will still listen to and share our music. I’m sure we will play together again one day. Huge love and thanks.
Dannika, Imogen, Robyn, Connie
At the time of writing, and with the context of the statement above, it appears that there are sadly no plans for a farewell tour or show to see Evarose out.
During their seven year long career, the band have released a handful of EPs – ‘Creation Divide’ in 2010, ‘Elements’ in 2012, and ‘Vice/Shedding Skin’ in 2013. The band’s final release was their debut full-length ‘Invisible Monsters’, which they self-released in June 2016.
They performed their final UK tour in March.
Any further news surrounding Evarose, including any new music projects any of the members may pursue going forward, will be announced as and when they develop.
