NEWS: 29 names join judging panel for Heavy Music Awards 2017!

Now boasting a panel of just over 100 names from across the music industry, including promoters, managers, publicists, record labels, podcasters, and journalists, a new batch of 29 more names have joined the list of judges who’ll take part in the first ever public voted Heavy Music Awards (or, the HMAs) this year.
One of the latest additions to the panel includes our founder/editor-in-chief Zach Redrup, alongside a host of already confirmed names coming from areas like BBC Radio 1, Download Festival, Raw Power Management, Kerrang! Radio, Live Nation, Deezer, Orange Amps, Scuzz, Reading & Leeds Festival, Music Week, That’s Not Metal, and a bunch more.

Set up by the Heavy Group‘s Dave Bradley and Andy Pritchard, the newly established public voted awards event will debut later this year, and will span 11 categories, including Best Album, Best UK Band, Best Venue, Best Live Band, and Best Festival.
Public voting for the event will open from May 22nd 2017. The winners of each category are then set to be announced at a ceremony to be held in London on August 24th 2017, with more details surrounding this to be confirmed soon.
