WHAT THE BAND SAY:

DP!: How would you describe yourselves to someone who has never heard Faux before?
Lee (Vocals): Indie emo pop, but we like to call it dirty pop.

DP!: How did the band form?
Lee: Me and Luke were discussing the idea of doing something more pop/indie after the dissipation of our old bands at a gig and met up for a jam, we then got James on board and wen’t through a couple of guitarists while going through our teething period before everything collating with mega producer Daly George on lead axe!

DP!:What plans do you have for the future?
Lee: I guess its the cliché response of “tour, write, tour, festivals, record and tour.” Unless you mean generally my plans for the future? Which are to stay alive and be happy.

DP!:Which new bands are you listening to right now?
Lee: Gun Shy – Southampton based Post-hardcore band
Bad Sign – Croydon based Riff Rock
Press To Meco – Crawley based Alt-Rock
Signals – Southampton based Math-Rock
Our Nameless Boy – Bristol based Emo/Rock

DP!:Which bands do you aspire to and why?
Lee: We aspire to Brand New for creating some of the most honest/raw/creative albums ever and Biffy Clyro for having the perfect pop/creativity balance.

DP!:What’s the stand out moment in your career so far?
Lee: Writing our new EP which will be released at some point this year for sure. It’s something we’re all super proud of and was so organic to write!
