NEWS: Paramore reportedly register an album’s worth of songs to ASCAP!

According to a fan run and managed Twitter account, it appears that Paramore have reportedly registered an album’s worth – 12 songs, to be exact – of brand new songs to ASCAP (the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers).

ASCAP is a performing rights organisation that protects its members’ musical copyright through licensing and collecting royalties by monitoring public performances of their music, whether via a broadcast or live performance, and compensating them accordingly.

All of the songs, which allegedly includes a track written by Aaron Weiss (of mewithoutYou), are listed below:

Caught In The Middle
Fake Happy
Forgiveness
Grudges
Hard Times
Idle Worship
Idle Worship Outro
Pool
Rose Colored Boy
Tell Me How
Told You So
What It Costs

The tweet confirming these tracks, and their respective writers, can be found here.

Though it’s not confirmed, it’s largely suspected that these are the finalised songs that will feature as part of the track listing for the band’s highly anticipated fifth studio full-length, and follow-up to their 2013 self-titled effort.

The new album will also be the band’s first with drummer Zac Farro back in the fold, who left the band back in 2010 along with his brother and ex-guitarist, Josh. It’s also the first to not feature bassist Jeremy Davis following his departure in December 2015.

More news surrounding the yet-to-be-titled record will be confirmed as and when it develops.
