NEWS: Widows to enter the studio for album number two!

Following the success of their debut full-length ‘Death Valley Dutchess’, Nottingham stoner rock stalwarts Widows are teaming up with Chris Fielding at Skyhammer Studios in Cheshire to start work on their sophomore effort:

Entitled ‘Oh, Deer God’, with eyes on a November 2016 release, the band had this to say via their Facebook page; ‘Well, the cat’s officially out of the bag now, we’re off to Skyhammer Studios to record our new album Oh Deer God in two weeks! We can’t wait to get these riffs down and bring you all some fresh brown goodness. It’s gonna be loud, it’s gonna be belligerent, and it’s gonna be in your CD player this winter!’

Widows have toured the UK, Europe and Scandanavia extensively with the likes of Orange Goblin and Valient Thorr and this new release is likely to bring with it an even heavier live schedule.

We will have more news on the album as and when it arises.
