Atmospheric post-metallers The Ever Living have released their new video for ‘Separated At Death’, which is taken from the band’s forthcoming self-titled EP. Check it out below:
Vocalist Chris Bevan Lee, who self-directed the video, has issued the following statement about the creation of the video;
‘The moving sculpture depicts a love story between a Muslim boy and a Georgian princess who came from different religious backgrounds and who were tragically separated after the Soviet Invasion. Each day at 7pm in Batumi, Georgia, these large kinetic statues begin their journey lasting 10 minutes. The figures move towards each other and for a moment, pass through each other in a short embrace. Then, much like the characters, they go their own ways leaving each other behind.
When we came out of the studio we knew that Separated At Death would be the flagship for the EP. Thematically, the video couldn’t be more appropriate; pure, direct and intense’.
