DP!: You guys have managed to crack the top five of the Red Bull Live at Download opportunity, how does it feel to have such great support from your fans?
BITS: It’s truly mind blowing! We’re extremely blessed to have such an amazing and supportive fan base! If we could, we would thank each and every person one by one for all the support they have given us.

DP!: Can you give us a brief history into how you guys have formed and come to be where you are today?
BITS: Knowing each other through previous bands, we came together to form Breathe In The Silence back in August 2012. Taking our time to write 30 minutes worth of good quality songs, we began playing shows in January 2013. We’ve met some amazing people along the way who have helped us out with great opportunities, but it’s mainly our passion for music that has kept us going strong and got us to where we are now, not to forget the incredible fans we have.

DP!: Do you have any shows coming up soon where people can come along and check out what you’re all about?
BITS: At the moment we have our EP pre-release show in Hobo’s Bridgend, South Wales and a couple more shows booked, which are all in the South Wales area. Details will be on our Facebook page. During the summer, we’re going to try and reach everyone throughout the UK, so keep a look out for us.

DP!: Have you got any final words for our readers?
BITS: To anyone whose reading this and has voted for us, we’re extremely grateful and can’t thank you enough. If you do check us out on the Red Bull Studios Live At Download opportunity and you like our music, please don’t hesitate to give us a vote and be sure to drop a comment and tell us what you think.

Adelphia

DP!: You guys have managed to crack the top five of the Red Bull Live at Download opportunity, how does it feel to have such great support from your fans?

A: Honestly, from the people that have supported us from day one to the people who have only just heard of us, the support has been incredible. That feeling of people appreciating what you love doing the most is something you can’t put a price on.

DP!: Can you give us a brief history into how you guys have formed and come to be where you are today?
A: The band started off with Rik and Nick, which was two guitars in a bedroom just getting to know one another through music after meeting through an online website, Join My Band. Shortly after, Jordan came along who Nick found through college. Jay was then auditioned and then fell into the band, which then became Adelphia.

DP!: How would you react if you manage to make the final cut and played at this year’s Download Festival?

A: Playing Download would be insane! It’s obviously one of those dreams we’ve all shared, and for us it would mean a real milestone and reward for all of our hard work which will always stick with us for the rest of our lives.

DP!: Do you have any shows coming up soon where people can come along and check out what you’re all about?

A: We’re actually playing Hit The Deck festival in two weeks, along with famous bands such as Brand New and Kids In Glass Houses. If you’re there, come and check us out.

Cabin Boy Jumped Ship

MUSIC VIDEO: Eyes Wide And Sleep Deprived (watch)

DP!: You guys have managed to crack the top five of the Red Bull Live at Download opportunity, how does it feel to have such great support from your fans?
CBJS: It makes us feel so appreciative that we have people out there who are loving what we’re doing. It just spurs us on to keep doing it and makes us try to do it better with each song that we write. The fact that we are where we are makes us feel humbled.

DP!: You’re going to be new to a lot of people, how would you best describe your sound?
CBJS: We would probably describe our sound as fresh, trying to blend in all the different styles that each individual member enjoys most to create something that makes you want to move and sing at the top of your lungs. Something that you can party to.

DP!: Are there any other bands taking part this year that you think people should check out?
CBJS: Definitely go and check out Girls That Scream and Upholder.

DP!: Have you got any final words for our readers?
CBJS: Support your fellow musicians instead of trying to get one up on each other. We all play music because we love it. Don’t lose sight of that.

They Say Fall

MUSIC VIDEO: Poseidon (watch)

DP!: You guys have managed to crack the top five of the Red Bull Live at Download opportunity, how does it feel to have such great support from your fans?
TSF: It feels phenomenal. It’s an incredibly humbling experience to have the support of our entire hometown, and we’ve been completely blown away by the dedicated response. We’ve even had the local newspapers and radio stations involved, so it feels like a real community project.

DP!: Can you give us a brief history into how you guys have formed and come to be where you are today?
TSF: We formed in early 2011, and have spent half of the last three years driving around the country, playing to anyone and everyone that’ll give us thirty minutes of their time. The other half has been spent locked in a studio crafting multiple EPs, a full-length and a ton of music videos.

DP!: How would you react if you manage to make the final cut and played at this year’s Download Festival?
TSF: We can guarantee we’ll react with the most hectic unsigned performance the weekend has to offer. We take every precious second of stage time so very seriously, and smash every drop of potential out of all of our shows.

DP!: Are there any other bands taking part in the competition this year that you think people should check out?

TSF: We have to throw a very special mention out to our brothers in For All The Wrong Reasons. Those boys have the tunes to kick start a new generation of pop-punk. Another is Create To Inspire. We had no idea about those guys until we saw them on the RBDL website, and their track ‘Shatter/Rebuild’ is nothing short of stunning.

Bullets Over Broadway

MUSIC VIDEO: Until Death Do Us Part (watch)

DP!: You guys have managed to crack the top five of the Red Bull Live at Download opportunity, how does it feel to have such great support from your fans?
BOB: It’s been great to know that our mates and families etc. have been waking up and taking the time and effort for us. There’s still a long way to go. We’re just hoping that our dated track is going to be strong enough when it comes to the judging.

DP!: How would you react if you managed to make the final cut and played at this year’s Download Festival?
BOB: We’d obviously absolutely love to play the festival. The thing I’m most excited for though is the whole experience of the Red Bull Studios thing. I’m sure if we managed to be in the final cut, we would all go out and get suitably trashed in celebration.

DP!: Do you have any shows coming up soon where people can come along and check out what you’re all about?
BOB: Currently we’re wrapping up our debut EP. We’ll be shooting a new music video very soon and releasing a single. As for shows, that’s all being arranged at the moment, so best bet is to keep an eye on our Facebook.

DP!: Have you got any final words for our readers?
BOB: Behind every great man is a fantastic barber. But seriously, our EP will be out really soon so keep an eye out for that. It’s well better than the paff we have online at the moment. Not really sure what we’re thinking back then. Keep voting so I can see Aerosmith for free and have a fantastic new profile picture of me onstage at Download.

We’ll be back again next week with another Top 5 from the voting charts, so be sure to check that out.

You can get involved with this year’s Red Bull Studios Live at Download opportunity and check out and vote for your favourite band by heading over to the website (here).
